In 2023, We Touched 24 Million Hearts
As Hayrat Humanitarian Aid Association, we continued to operate in various areas, including distributing copies of the Holy Qur'an, Ramadan programs, opening water wells, providing health screenings, and sponsoring orphans. This was in addition to our response to the earthquakes that severely affected many provinces in Türkiye, particularly the southern province of Kahramanmaraş.
If not for your continued support and generous contributions, we would not be able to extend our assistance and touch the hearts of hundreds of thousands of needy people both at home in Türkiye and many countries around the world.
Earthquake Response
From the very moment of the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, we promptly mobilised to support search and rescue operations and provide relief efforts to assist the earthquake victims in 11 provinces of Türkiye.
Qurbani Operations
Under the banner of "Qurbani, the Name of Brotherhood", we conducted sacrificial operations in 34 countries, distributing 51,000 shares of sacrificial meat, thus bringing joy to over 2 million fellow Muslim brothers and sisters during Eid Al-Adha. We also distributed 12,000 sets of Eid clothes.
Distribution of Qur'an Copies
As part of the "World Reads the Qur'an" project, we embarked on a mission to distribute 1 million copies of the Holy Qur'an to those in need around the world. This year, we successfully delivered 171,546 copies of the Holy Qur'an to beneficiaries.
Water Wells
In regions where drought combined with economic hardship creates extremely challenging living conditions, we launched water well projects. Through these projects, we provided assistance to those in need and paid tribute to our heroic martyrs by naming the wells after them. In 2023, we inaugurated a total of 574 water wells in 13 countries, with 99 of them named after our courageous martyrs.
Orphan Sponsorship
We continued our support for over 13,000 orphaned children in Türkiye and various countries, including Palestine, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Syria, Sudan, Chad, Indonesia, Somalia, Cambodia, and many others.
Healthcare Services
We offered healthcare services to 163,668 individuals both domestically and internationally, including cataract surgeries, provision of a variety of medicines, psychosocial support, circumcision procedures for minors, and various health screenings.
Ramadan
We spread the blessings and joy of the holy month of Ramadan not only in earthquake-affected provinces of Türkiye, but also in numerous countries, from Sri Lanka to Kenya, the Philippines to Mauritania, Bangladesh to Palestine, organizing iftar and suhoor meals to the less fortunate and distributing Eid clothes to allow children to get the most out of Eid. Throughout Ramadan, we touched the lives of 2,274,144 people through various activities.
Sustainable Development
In addition to our humanitarian aid efforts, we contributed to employment through vocational training in many countries. Furthermore, we provided 3 milk goats and 1 male goat to help vulnerable families sustain themselves. In total, 4,475 individuals benefited from our development activities in 2023.

In 2024, with the unwavering support of our kind philanthropists, we are committed to continuing our operations in all these areas with even greater dedication and effort. We firmly believe that "the World Changes with Kindness". Having assisted a total of 22,268,468 people, we remain steadfast in being a beacon of hope, thanks to the support of our generous donors. From providing hot meals and winter relief packs to delivering healthcare services and offering educational scholarships, we will continue to stand alongside those in need.
