What is Orphan Sponsorship?

The Orphan Sponsorship program provides monthly financial support to help meet an orphaned child’s educational, nutritional, healthcare, and essential daily needs. Through this program, we help orphaned children grow up in a safe and supportive environment while building a brighter future.

Millions of Orphaned Children Need Your Support

Worldwide, an estimated 200 million children are orphaned today. Unofficial estimates place the figure at over 400 million. Many have lost one or both parents due to conflict, war, or natural disasters, particularly across the Muslim world. Without protection and support, these children are at increased risk of exploitation, human trafficking, forced labor, and other forms of abuse.

How We Help

With your unwavering support, Hayrat Aid provides long-term care and support to orphaned children in need. Through our education centers and ongoing humanitarian programs, we give them the opportunity to grow up in safe environments. Currently, we support over 18,000 orphaned children in Türkiye, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Palestine, Syria, Sudan, Chad, Indonesia, Somalia, Cambodia, and beyond.

How Your Sponsorship Reaches Orphaned Children

Cash Aid: For orphaned children in Türkiye, your sponsorship provides cash assistance through their parents or legal guardians, helping cover education, clothing, and other essential needs.

In-Kind Aid: For orphaned children outside Türkiye, your sponsorship takes the form of food parcels, hygiene kits, clothing, school supplies, Eid gifts, and other essential relief items, tailored to local needs and conditions.

• Make a one-time donation of any amount through our General Orphan Fund.

• Text YETİM to 5876 to donate ₺50 (within Türkiye).

• Donate your Zakat or Fitrana to support orphaned children.
