What Are the Doors of Kindness?

As Hayrat Aid, we established the Doors of Kindness across Türkiye to build a lasting bridge of compassion between donors and those in need. With our 42 Doors of Kindness located across Türkiye, including 2 in Syria, we enable thousands of families, especially orphans and orphaned families, to access clothing, food, and essential needs free of charge. The Doors of Kindness are not just aid centers; they are places of solidarity, sharing, and compassion, where every door opens to a smile, a prayer, and renewed hope.

Types of Support Provided by the Doors of Kindness

Clothing and Household Support

New or gently used clothes, shoes, home textiles, and small household items are offered to families in need. These supports are renewed periodically according to seasonal needs.

Food Support

Through the Doors of Kindness, essential food packages—such as flour, oil, legumes, and hot meals—are delivered to families. Especially during Ramadan and winter, we bring warmth and blessings to their tables.

Hygiene and Cleaning Support

Cleaning products, baby diapers, soap, and detergent are distributed to improve living conditions, particularly for low-income families.

Psychosocial and Social Support

In certain regions, the Doors of Kindness also provide psychosocial support for children, health screenings, and parenting trainings for families—offering not only material help but also emotional care and hope.
