Global Inequality in Access to Clean Water

Water is the most essential need for human survival. Yet today, nearly 2.2 billion people around the world struggle to access safe and clean drinking water. Every day, approximately 1,100 children — and 400,000 every year — lose their lives due to diarrheal diseases and outbreaks caused by contaminated water and inadequate hygiene conditions. The vast majority of these deaths occur in Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asian countries.

Hayrat Aid's Clean Water Campaign Across 29 Countries

Hayrat Aid brings hope to underserved communities by implementing water projects across 29 countries in Africa and Asia. Through the thousands of wells we’ve installed, we’ve touched the lives of millions, ensuring long-term service through regular maintenance and repairs. The millions benefiting from these wells pray for the donors who made them possible through Hayrat Aid.

Note: You can donate any amount starting from ₺1 under this campaign. For donations of ₺10,000 or more, our team will contact you to inscribe the name(s) of your choice on the well's plaque. Each well's plaque displays the donor’s name (as requested). After donation, plaque drafts are shared for approval. Approved plaques are installed, and donors receive photos/videos of the completed well.
