In collaboration with Hayrat Aid, Insaf Foundation, Deniz Feneri Association, Can Suyu, Ribat Humanitarian Aid, and SASA Foundation, we have established the Bangsamoro Turkish Education Academy (BTEA) to enhance educational opportunities for children and youth in the Bangsamoro region of the Philippines. With this academy, we aim to create a permanent and high-quality educational infrastructure that respects the region's religious and cultural sensitivities and brings together different levels of education.
A Permanent Education Project in Bangsamoro
The Bangsamoro Turkish Education Academy is a comprehensive project implemented to provide long-term contributions to education, one of the most critical needs of the Muslim community in the region.
In the first phase of the project, a 51,000 m² plot of land was purchased in 2016, and work began on the Abdülhamid Han Education Complex, which includes a primary school, middle school, high school, and an orphanage. In the second phase, the construction of the Selamet Hayır University campus on a 90,000 m² area has started.
Thus, the aim is to establish a permanent educational structure where students of different age groups can continue their education from primary to higher education.
