The Bangsamoro Türkiye Education Academy (BTEA) is a modern educational institution established in collaboration with respected Turkish NGOs, including Hayrat Aid, İnsan Foundation, Deniz Feneri Association, Cansuyu Association, Ribat Humanitarian Aid Association, and SASA, to serve the Bangsamoro Muslim community. The academy aims to offer comprehensive education aligned with the religious and cultural sensitivities of the local people by integrating all levels of education from elementary school to university under one roof.
The BTEA project was initiated to address the critical need for quality education in the Bangsamoro, following its autonomy. The project, the foundation of which was laid in 2016, includes the purchase of a 51,000 m² of land for the construction of the Abdulhamit Han Education Complex, which encompasses an elementary school, middle school, high school, and orphanage. In the second phase of the project, the construction of the Salamat Hashim University Campus has begun on an area of 90,000 m².
