Since October 7, a massive genocide has been unfolding in Gaza, claiming the lives of nearly 15,000 people and leaving thousands more injured, with women and children constituting the majority of the victims. In response, the Kindness Ship, led by the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) and aided by several NGOs, has embarked on its mission, carrying tons of humanitarian aid.

Hayrat Humanitarian Aid Association has dispatched the aid collected from different cities such as Ankara, Şanlıurfa, and Bursa to Mersin Port. The total aid materials, nearing 100 tons, have been loaded onto the ship at Mersin Port, ready to be dispatched to those in desperate need in Palestine.

The aid supplies, which consists of food parcels, ready-to-eat canned foods, hygiene materials, and mother-and-baby kits, is aimed at supporting families forced to endure the unfavorable conditions in the Strip. The Kindness Ship aims to restore the shattered human dignity and reignite the spirit of solidarity in Gaza, becoming a beacon of hope for the local community.
