A massive march was held in Istanbul to bring attention to the ongoing genocide in Gaza and to show solidarity with Palestine. Pro-Palestinian protesters gathered around Hagia Sophia and nearby mosques, then marched toward the Galata Bridge, carrying signs that read, "Yesterday Hagia Sophia, Today the Umayyad Mosque, Tomorrow Al-Aqsa.”

Nearly 400 civil society organizations (CSOs) came together for the event, which was organized under the umbrella of the "Milli İrade Platformu." Participants called on the international community to take action against the atrocities in Palestine.
As Hayrat Aid, we proudly participated in this meaningful march. Our team served meals to 10,000 attendees from our 1 mobile kitchen truck and 2 mobile kitchens deployed at the event.
