The Sivrice district of Elazığ was hit by a 6.8 magnitude earthquake on January 24, 2020 at 20.55. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 6.75 kilometers below the floor.

Our teams mobilized all over the country and arrived upon the scene as of midnight. They provided essential items such as hot soup, tea, fruit juices, tents, blankets and the like to the disaster-stricken.

Our teams on the ground provided food assistance to search and rescue teams, notably disaster-stricken.

41 people lost their lives after the earthquake and 1.631 injured. We wish Allah’s mercy upon those losing their lives and a quick recovery for those injured.
