A Lifeline to Gaza: 320,000 Canned Meat Portions in Preparation

As Hayrat Humanitarian Aid Association, we have organized a comprehensive Qurbani operation guided by the theme "Qurbani: Embracing Brotherhood" in Turkey and 31 countries this year, distributing over 54,000 Qurbani shares to more than 2 million people in need.

In order to stand in solidarity and help alleviate the suffering of our brothers and sisters striving against the genocide in Gaza, we slaughtered 500 large animals in Afyonkarahisar, Türkiye. These slaughters were carried out with the utmost care during the Eid al-Adha season.

The meat from the slaughters is meticulously stored in cold storage warehouses and is being processed into a total of 320,000 canned meat portions, each weighing 800 grams. These cans are produced and readied for consumption at our integrated facilities under strict hygiene standards. At the earliest opportunity, they will be transported to Gaza via Kindness Ship missions coordinated by the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).
