With over 10 years of field experience, Hayrat Aid continued building bridges of kindness during this year's Eid al-Adha. Guided by the "Qurbani: Uniting Hearts" campaign, we helped underprivileged communities grappling with the harsh realities of war, hunger, and poverty celebrate Eid al-Adha.
Over 100 dedicated volunteers and field teams were deployed for this year's Eid al-Adha operations to perform your Qurbani offerings across the globe. All animals underwent rigorous health and sharia-compliant checks and were slaughtered in full compliance with Islamic procedures. Hayrat teams then fairly delivered the meat from your offerings, apportioned carefully, to those most in need and shared the slaughter video link with you.
In the countries where we carried out Qurbani operations, we did more than distribute meat—we shared the joy of Eid with orphaned and underprivileged children by offering them brand-new Eid outfits and special gifts.
Worldwide, we reached around 3,220,000 people in need with a total of 70,408 Qurbani shares across 28 countries, including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Chad, Indonesia, India, Kenya, Mali, Mauritania, Nigeria, Somalia, and Tanzania, bringing barakah to their tables.
We meticulously planned our Qurbani operation for Gaza as well. Made possible through your generous donations, 7,500 Qurbani shares were slaughtered, processed into canned meat in Gulf countries, and are being prepared for delivery to our besieged brothers and sisters in Gaza via Egypt or Jordan.
On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, we thank all the philanthropists who trusted us with their sacrificial offerings. While wajib Qurbani has concluded, we continue accepting Adaq, Aqiqah, Sadaqah, and Shukr sacrifices year-round.
