Every crop the earth offers us is a grace and blessing from Allah Almighty. In Islamic belief, ushr, known as the zakat of products obtained from the land, is both an expression of gratitude and a spiritual insurance for our harvest. As Hayrat Aid, we facilitate the transfer of the blessings of your harvest, obtained through your hard work and effort, to those in need around the world.

What is Ushr Donation and Why is it Important?

Ushr is a sharia-mandated zakat obligation on agricultural products. Depending on the irrigation method, one-tenth (10%) or one-twentieth (5%) of the crop must be distributed to those in need. This act of worship both increases the blessing of the land and strengthens the bridge of solidarity in society.

How Does Hayrat Aid Deliver Your Ushr Donations?

You can donate the ushr amount of your harvested agricultural products to our association in cash (money) based on their current market value. The ushr donations entrusted to us are delivered with trust and sensitivity:

Primarily to orphan families, and to those in need both domestically and internationally, as basic food supplies, hot meals, and emergency humanitarian aid.
