As Hayrat Aid, through our Tuk-Tuk Motor Donation, we support families in need in regions with limited transportation to create their own sources of income. A tuk-tuk is a three-wheeled motorized vehicle used for passenger and cargo transport. With the tuk-tuks provided under this project, we help families earn a regular income through transportation.
The cost of one Tuk-Tuk Motor is $4,400. You can contribute any amount you wish to the campaign, or you can support a complete Tuk-Tuk Motor by donating $4,400.
Regular Income Support with the Tuk-Tuk Project
Tuk-tuks are essential vehicles for daily life in areas where public transport and transportation networks are limited. These vehicles, used for passenger and cargo transport, can also create an employment opportunity for a family in need to earn an income.
As Hayrat Aid, we carry out the Tuk-Tuk Project as part of our sustainable development efforts; we aim to provide families in need with a vehicle that allows them to support their livelihoods through their own labor.
Within the scope of the project:
• Families in need are identified.
• Tuk-tuk vehicles suitable for passenger and cargo transport are procured.
• Operating the vehicles helps generate a regular income.
• The process is monitored to ensure the project's sustainability.
With our Tuk-Tuk Taxi project in Somalia in 2025, we supported both the transportation needs in areas with limited transport networks and the ability of families to earn a regular income. In our previous Tuk-Tuk initiatives in 2022, we reached 75 people with 5 vehicles.
