Access to Clean Water in Africa

Africa faces the greatest challenges in accessing clean and safe drinking water. One of the continent’s most pressing issues is drought. Every day, people in many African regions must walk for kilometers to reach potable water sources. In some areas, the lack of access to clean water leads to children losing their lives due to thirst and waterborne diseases.

Through Hayrat Humanitarian Aid’s water projects around the world, you can help meet the urgent need for clean water in arid regions by supporting the construction of solar-powered water wells with storage in Togo.

Important Note

Each water well includes a plaque bearing the donor’s requested name(s). The plaque design is shared with donors for approval after the donation is received. Once the well is completed, donors are provided with photos and videos of the project. Additionally, donors who fund a full water well receive a water well model containing detailed information about the project as a gift.
