To address the long-standing need for shelter in Syria, we are carrying out housing projects to help families find safe and permanent living spaces. Through the briquette houses we build as part of our Homes from the Heart project, we provide permanent housing support to families who have been living in temporary shelters for years or who need housing upon returning to their country.
Permanent Housing and Briquette House Project in Syria
The long years of war have rendered many residential areas and homes in Syria uninhabitable. Today, shelter remains a basic need for families returning to their country or trying to rebuild their lives.
As Hayrat Aid, we are building permanent homes under the name Homes from the Heart to offer a long-term solution to this need. To date, we have completed and delivered 5,550 permanent homes to families within the scope of the project.
The briquette houses we build help families move from tents and other temporary shelters to safer and more stable living spaces. With our permanent housing efforts, we aim not just to construct a building, but to create a living environment where families can carry on their daily lives and children can grow up in better conditions.
