Current Situation: Israeli Attacks on Lebanon

Since October 7, 2023, Israel's ongoing attacks have extended to Lebanon. According to Lebanon's Ministry of Health, more than 4,000 people have lost their lives, and over 1.2 million have been forced to flee their homes. Children, patients, and the elderly are among those struggling to survive under devastating conditions. More than 16,000 people have been injured, while over 10,000 buildings have been damaged or completely destroyed. As Hayrat Aid, we refuse to remain silent in the face of this human tragedy and have launched an emergency relief campaign for civilians who have lost their homes and those in desperate need.

The Beirut Explosion and Lebanon's Economic Difficulties

On August 4, 2020, a massive explosion occurred at the Port of Beirut, deeply shocking the Lebanese people. In the aftermath of the explosion, which killed 220 people and injured 6,500 others, and dealt yet another blow to Lebanon's already difficult economic downturn, Hayrat Aid stood with the people of Lebanon.
