The term "fidyah" refers to the monetary amount one must offer to the poor in place of each missed day of fasting in Ramadan he or she has missed for a valid reason, or as compensation for a missed action or a violation of a Hajj-related law.

At Hayrat Aid, we use the fidyah funds you generously donate for various purposes, including emergency aid, distribution of Qur'an copies and Alif-Ba juzes, provision of food parcels, gifting during Eid, and orphan sponsorship projects, all aimed at reaching out to our brothers and sisters in need.
