We are building the Azaz Orphan and Hafiz Education Center in the Azaz region of Syria to support the educational, housing, and social development needs of orphan children. The new center, which we began constructing in 2025, is planned as a permanent educational facility with classrooms, dormitories, study areas, and social spaces, enabling children to continue their education in a safe environment.
Education and Shelter Center for Orphan Children in Azaz
As Hayrat Aid, we have been providing shelter, basic education, hafiz training, and social development support to hundreds of children at our Azaz Orphan Education Center, which has been operational since 2017.
In response to the growing needs in the region, we began the construction of a new Orphan and Hafiz Education Center with more extensive facilities in 2025. Once completed, the center aims to provide a holistic environment where children can continue their education, study, find shelter, and participate in social activities.
What Will the Orphan and Hafiz Education Center Include?
The new education center is designed to support the academic, spiritual, and social development of children.
• Classrooms and study areas for 150 people
• Dormitories and study halls for 100 boarding students
• Cafeteria
• Social activity areas
• A prayer room (masjid) for the children's spiritual development
• A total usage area of 1,800 m²
With this structure, the Azaz Orphan and Hafiz Education Center is intended to be not just a building for education, but a permanent center that also meets the daily living and shelter needs of the children.
