Years of war and poverty have severely affected daily life in Afghanistan. For many families, securing even their daily bread has become a significant struggle. Economic difficulties, unemployment, and limited access to basic food—especially for orphaned families and impoverished households—continue to make life increasingly challenging.

Hayrat Aid’s Bread Bakery Project

Through the bread bakery we established in Afghanistan, we help ensure access to staple food while creating new job opportunities for vulnerable families. The bread produced in this bakery is distributed free of charge every day to orphans and families in need. Staff members are selected from among those who are themselves struggling economically, helping them earn a stable income. A portion of the bakery’s revenue is allocated to sustainable development projects, turning every donation into long-term social impact.
