In the bakery we established in Kabul, we produce 1,000 loaves of bread every day. While we deliver a portion of the produced bread to those in need for free, we offer another portion for sale.
Thus, the bakery not only supports the daily need for bread but also creates a working model that contributes to its own sustainability.
We provide employment for 5 families with the bakery
Our bakery provides employment for 5 families. This way, we don't limit our aid efforts to just bread distribution, but also contribute to families earning a regular income.
The sales revenue from the bread produced in the bakery supports the sustainability of our education center in Afghanistan. Through this, bread donations contribute both to the basic food needs of the needy and to our ongoing educational activities.
