Emergency
The declared ceasefire has partially facilitated humanitarian aid operations towards Gaza. Aid that was previously delivered in limited quantities can now enter the area more regularly. While food, water, and health support remain among the most urgent needs, as Hayrat Aid, we continue our work with our trusted partner organizations to ensure the continuity of aid. In this context, we are preparing emergency aid trucks to be sent to Gaza.
Palestine's freedom struggle, "Operation Al-Aqsa Flood," which it launched against occupying Israel on October 7, 2023, continues. Israel has cut off water and electricity to Palestine and announced that it has used more than a thousand tons of bombs so far.
As a result of all these attacks, many residential areas, including hospitals, mosques, and schools, have been heavily damaged. Following the attacks on Gaza, recent statements have reported that over 65,000 Palestinians have been killed, more than 20,000 of whom are children, and over 165,000 people have been injured.
Within the scope of our humanitarian efforts to date, 1,280,000 hot meals, 2,514,000 loaves of bread, 71,140 food parcels, 68,700 blankets and winter clothing items, and 6,737 tons of water have been delivered to those in need. In addition, 620,000 food cans, 475,000 sacrificial meat cans, 146 tons of flour, and 7 tons of fuel support were provided. Alongside cash assistance, orphan support, health and medical aid, hygiene kits, shelter support, and debris removal activities, a total of 11,870 tons of humanitarian aid was delivered, reaching 13.6 million beneficiaries.
