Projects that Nurture Hope

Creating lasting solutions in humanitarian aid and helping people sustain their lives independently is of great importance. Families who have lost their livelihoods due to war, poverty, or natural disasters often become dependent on external aid. However, sustainable development projects open the door to social transformation by offering long-term, rather than temporary, solutions.

Hayrat Aid’s Sustainable Development Efforts

At Hayrat Aid, we develop projects that provide regular sources of income for people in need. In this way, families can sustain themselves, and communities can continue their lives without relying on external support. Through agricultural, livestock, educational, and vocational programs, we contribute to raising individuals who look to the future with hope.

Our Areas of Work in Sustainable Development

Gerobak (Goodness Cart) Project

One of our sustainable development initiatives, the Gerobak (Goodness Cart) Project aims to enable individuals in need to earn a living through their own efforts. Through the gerobaks provided within this project, beneficiaries generate income by selling desserts, food, and similar products.

Gerobak is not merely a source of income; it is a trust that represents responsibility, effort, and hope. The trust-based relationships established with regular customers increase beneficiaries’ motivation to work and help create a stable and sustainable livelihood.

TukTuk Project

As part of our sustainable development projects, we distribute TukTuks (three-wheeled motor vehicles) with the support of our donors. Through these TukTuks, families in need gain the opportunity to earn a regular income by providing transportation and delivery services.

This project aims to empower families to stand on their own feet by offering a productive and sustainable way of living, rather than reliance on ongoing aid.

Sewing Workshops Project

One of the projects that transforms your support into lasting good is our Sewing Workshops. These workshops primarily provide women with vocational skills, enabling them to participate in production and earn an income. Through sewing workshops, family incomes are strengthened while contributing to local employment and economic development.

Bakery Project

Through the Bakery Project, free bread is distributed via local bakeries established in areas of need. At the same time, operating these bakeries creates employment opportunities and provides a permanent solution to the community’s basic food needs.

Tree Planting Project

Through tree planting activities carried out both after disasters and in non-disaster periods, we invest in the environment and future generations. This project aims to protect nature, expand green areas, and contribute to ecological balance.

Agricultural Land Project

Purchased agricultural lands are allocated to individuals in need, enabling production through smart farming methods. Harvested crops meet local food needs while also creating employment throughout the production process. Through this project, agricultural production is supported, and a sustainable contribution to local development is achieved.
