Sustainable

Most of the people in countries where income inequality is rampant have difficulty even meeting their daily needs. In addition to the impossibilities caused by the lack of income, inequality of opportunity is one of the biggest obstacles people face. Especially women living in poor areas are exposed to such inequality, discrimination and social oppression more than anyone else in the world.

As Hayrat Aid, we are trying to create continuous and developing business lines in regions where people in need are concentrated, with the "Sustainable Development" program, which is one of our 9 main projects. With the “3 Dairy Goats, 1 Goat” campaign, which we launched for the first time in Africa, we aimed to create an income source by giving priority to families in the region who have no income source.

We are starting to realize our "Sewing Machine" project, which is currently included in our "Sustainable Development" action plan, in Africa, Yemen and Far East Asian countries. Our aim with this project is to create a direct income source for families who are in a disadvantageous situation, completely dependent on foreign sources and who do not have any income source, and to provide indirect economic development to the regions where they live.

To activate our “Sewing Machine” project, our selected families will first be subjected to a competency test. Sewing machines will be distributed to those who are already competent, and distributions will be made to families who are not competent after the necessary training is given. The development of our families will be closely monitored by regular follow-ups for two years. In addition, throughout the process, our Association will also contribute to the more reliable and healthy development of the process by establishing connections between the supported families, wholesalers and manufacturers.
