As Hayrat Aid, we continue our efforts to address shelter needs amid the deepening humanitarian crisis and harsh winter conditions in Gaza. Within this scope, we have successfully completed the establishment of a tent camp that will serve approximately 300 beneficiaries.
As part of the project, ground preparation and perimeter fencing were completed, followed by the installation of 58 dome-shaped tents. The camp was designed to ensure that families can stay in a safe and protected environment.
To meet hygiene needs, two separate toilet and shower units, each consisting of four toilets, were set up in the camp area. Due to the destruction of infrastructure and the absence of a sewage system in the region, wastewater is safely disposed of through septic pits. Each toilet unit is equipped with two 500-liter water tanks.

We meet the camp’s water needs through a well located near the site, which we repaired as Hayrat Humanitarian Aid Association. A solar energy system installed to operate the submersible pump connected to the well is also used to provide general lighting throughout the camp area.
We aim to continue and expand our humanitarian aid efforts to ensure access to safe shelter, clean water, and basic living conditions in Gaza. With your support, we will keep standing alongside those in need in crisis regions.
